| you know what's AWESOME? i'll tell you.. :) signing onto xanga and reading my subscriptions filled with entries crying out to God, praising Him and all that good stuff. it's funny how xanga changed huh? hardly anyone uses it anymore but it's become such an encouragement for me to read, seeing how everyone is growing spiritually.
i just wanted to say that because i think that y'all need to be encouraged by my encouragement. it's always nice to know that someone else is encouraged by you so know that i am! in high school, esp the earlier years, i don't think i would've ever posted something about God. maybe i would mention him in like.. the last sentence or something but i wouldn't have ever written something personal or thought provoking. it's just really really really cool to see everyone striving towards a relationship with God, not settling for anything less. of course we all stumble and fall short but that's the beauty of God's grace right?
so yes... i just felt like i should share that i'm really encouraged by everyone posting about how their spiritual life is going, being vulnerable and taking a risk by actually putting this on the internet where ANYONE can read it. so YAY for God! he's freaking AWESOME, is He not? [yes He is :) ]

| so i'm supposed to be writing my paper but i decided that i wanted to take a break.. haha but anyway. this quarter seems a lot less fun than fall quarter for some reason. it feels like we don't play as much. maybe it's cuz we haven't gone AIRSOFTING since freaking like 8th week or something of FALL QUARTER.. but yes. winter quarter feels like a lot more work and all that nasty stuff. HOPEFULLY we shall go out soon. i think last quarter was a bunch of fun and messing around and this quarter was getting serious and dealing with school and stuff. let's make spring like fall yeah? OKAY COOL!
other than that.. tonight was pretty fun though. extraordinary desserts. mmmmmmmm <3

so CEC is doing c2c90d= cover to cover in 90 days. MEANING we are reading the bible in 90 days and it's kinda intense. i've always read like a chapter a day or something but now it's like.. 20 a day. i thought it'd be a lot harder to do than it really is. even though today is only the 4th day, i think that i'll actually stick this through. it's nice too cuz everyone is keeping each other accountable and i love it. i love the 24/7 accountability i have aqui. it seems like it'd be a guilt trip or something but it really isn't. coming to college has really been a growing experience i guess. i didn't know how much i got closer to God until i really just sat and thought about it. even then, i'm not all that close.. if that makes sense. i love looking back and realizing how much He has done for me. it's flipping awesome. and just how everything falls into place. God provides, guys. seriously. AMAZING. that's what He is.
as a side note and an encouragement:
you will never be given anything you can't handle. if God decided that you should do so many things at once or deal with one HUGE problem.. he knows that you can do it. maybe he's looking for you to lean on him but seriously. be right with God and everything else falls into place.
philippians 4:13- "i can do all things through him who strengthens me"
it's kind of a cliched verse but really.. think about it. ponder. do you have what it takes to give it all up to God? cuz that's really all you have to do. everything else will fall into place. trust.
